Ongoing Teaching Series
PITH INSTRUCTIONS: Personal Reflections on the Heart Essence of Dzogchen
Beginning Wednesday, September 6, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is offering a free series of Pith Instructions, broadcast live from his Facebook Page. Pith instructions are an extraordinarily simple and direct way to receive and connect with the ancient Tibetan teachings. In these teachings and guided meditations, Rinpoche will draw from his own years of personal reflection on the heart-essence teachings of dzogchen. The dzogchen, or “great perfection,” teachings are considered the path of self-liberation and the highest form of teaching and practice in the Bön Buddhist tradition. Their practices transport the practitioner directly into the nature of mind, which is our true essence.
Throughout the series you can visit Rinpoche’s Facebook page to view each scheduled broadcast. Because of Rinpoche’s extensive travels in coming days and weeks — including uncertain Internet access, and time-zone considerations — there must be flexibility in the broadcast schedule. Please stay tuned for further updates! Between scheduled sessions Rinpoche will offer occasional, unscheduled live broadcasts, including conversations with invited guests on related topics. All sessions are recorded for future viewing.
From October 22–28, 2017, Ligmincha International hosted a full week of special online observances in honor of its 25th anniversary! View the wide variety of contributions from Ligmincha’s worldwide centers and sanghas.
