Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche has launched an innovative way for you to connect with him, the ancient Tibetan teachings, and fellow students around the world through regular live broadcasts that can be easily viewed on Rinpoche’s Facebook page. All broadcasts are free and open to all—you don’t need a Facebook account to view them.

To access the viewing screen, visit Rinpoche’s Facebook page at the time of the broadcast (scroll down to see the broadcast schedule). If the screen doesn’t appear right away, the broadcast may not have begun yet, so try reloading the page. If you have a Facebook account, you’ll have an opportunity to submit questions and receive answers from Rinpoche. Be sure to like his page and click “Follow” to receive a notification each time Rinpoche goes live. Between broadcasts, recordings of previous TWR LIVE events can be viewed here.

TWR2Every few days Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche will broadcast live discussions of his books, interviews with experts in the fields of science and spirituality, pith wisdom teachings from the Tibetan Bön Buddhist tradition and much more. Through these new TWR LIVE broadcasts, viewers can even enjoy occasional impromptu live streams featuring Rinpoche, his family and/or his travels. Through TWR LIVE you can broaden your knowledge and deepen your connection to the ancient wisdom traditions of Tibetan Bön Buddhism. You can also learn meditation practices and cultivate awareness for greater social and personal transformation.

  • March 15 through  March 22: Daily Facebook Live guided meditations led by designated practice leaders in 16 different languages. Daily meditations will be based on Rinpoche’s March 14 guided meditation.
  • March 23, 1 p.m. NY time: Guided meditation with Rinpoche via Facebook live to conclude the 10-day series of guided meditations.

The Science of Meditating While Asleep: Lucid dreaming and conscious sleeping from the perspectives of modern science and direct meditative experience. 

Berkeley professor David E. Presti, Ph.D., discusses the contemporary study of sleep and consciousness, drawing from central concepts of Western neuroscience, evolutionary biology, chemistry, and physics.
